Boao Philanthropic Tour - Read for Children  
 

On March 24, 2017, the Secretariat of Boao Forum for Asia, Qionghai Municipal People’s Government, and Grand World Group co-hosted the book donation event  during the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference at the prestigious Jiaji Middle School. Pang Lijuan, vice Chairman of Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Xie Shumin, wife of Zhou Wenzhong, the Secretary General of Boao Forum for Asia, Pan Yanhong, the Vice Mayor of Qionghai City and other guests attended the event. During the event, the guests donated books, school supplies and funds to the underprivileged students in Qionghai City. The guests representative, Mr. Burton Shipley, husband of Jennifer Mary Shipley, the former Prime Minister of New Zealand, and Ran Yingying, wife of Zou Shiming, the Olympic champion and world champion the gold belt winner, read excerpts from famous works to the children and enjoyed the charm of the text with the children.
